What do you mean you cannot get UK keyboard settings? Is the Regional missing from the
Control Panel?

Goto Keyboard & set it there
Regional settings has a few places to change it.

Remember to set UK as default & when you reboot it should be set. Then go back & delete US
keyboard settings & the language indicator should disappear from the system tray

I have windoze xp pro on my pc but cannot for the life of me get it to
display UK keyboard layout.
I've tried to find settings in Regional and Language but to no avail.
All I can get it English -United Kingdom- Keyboard United States- US or
International.
