Did you reboot after changes? Turn off--reboot---turn on reboot.

thank you and yes i have done that to no avail. I get a message about i386
and needing to insert a disk. Sorry to seem so stupid, but really have no

to answer your request, the exact error message is as follows:

"Windows cannot display the volume control on the taskbar because the

When I go to control panel it still will not let me add the components

missing - namely Accessories.

I seem to have lost all these functions on my computer. When going to
