Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

Did you actually try the easy step-by-step procedure I suggested?

Thanks for the help I removed the printer in various ways first I had HP
support and they removed it manualy not sure if this worked so I did add
remove programs and finally deleted all HP folders. not sure if this did
the
job... I may have loaded a bad file it had the option for 64 and 32 bit
not
sure what one worked but I know I did try both. Not sure exactlly how to
get
the info you asked for system log etc. all help is greatly appreciated. is
there anywhere I can download a xp disk I have my product key but can not
find my xp disk I could do a repair from that?

this
problem came after updating a printer driver that was confliction with
ie7. I
have removed all things associated with the printer and ie7 but still
have no
luck booting computer.

So before trying to fix it, what facts define the problem. For
example, what does Device Manager report? What problems are stored in
the system (event) log? Trying to fix this or that is called
shotgunning. Before trying to fix anything, first discover what is
failing. Posted are some of the first facts necessary before fixing
anything.

How did you remove that printer? What did the printer removing?
What does Task Manager report when system does boot?

What, exactly, was the printer driver loaded? Did you load a printer
driver intended for something such as Windows 98? Again, before
fixing anything, first learn what is wrong.
