Re: Remove Integrated Sound Card?

Brad;
Again, many thanks. That did it.
Now another question. The new card is installed and working. However, every
time I boot up, the system finds "new" hardware and I have to put the cd in
the drive and reinstall the card. How come?

Typically on integrated sound cards the Bass and Treble controls cannot
be adjusted. The place I would check first to get the volume control in
the taskbar is under "Sound and Audio Devices" in the Control Panel.
Once you are in the options for "Sound and Audio Devices" you should see
a check box for "Place volume icon in the taskbar". Once this is checked
this should resolve the issue. Please let me know if you have further
questions regarding this.
