This is a hardware problem, which seems to indicate a cache memory error,
which is on the CPU.
Ask in a group that deals with your make/model of motherboard, or google for
more info.
You might try going into the BIOS again, (if you can get there), and
disabling the cache. You will need to read the mobo manual to find this
setting. If you don't have it you may be able to download it from the
motherboard manufacturers website.
If it does boot it will be slow.
This could be a board problem also, but from the message it seems to
indicate CPU. Is the CPU fan and heatsink attached properly? You will need
to take the side of the case off to inspect. If the BIOS has a "PC health"
menu, look at that to see what the readings are.
Wouldn't hurt to check the RAM, but at this stage it's best to start from
the CPU.

Hi, need help, my son was playing a game on my pc and called me in to see
that there was a blank screen with pink vertical lines through it. Can't
get
much info out of him as he is only 4. I did a restart by pressing the
button
on the front as I didn't know what else to do. Now getting a screen that
says
DEL:Setup F11:Boot Menu F12:Network Boot
Cache Memory Error
Press F1 to run SETUP
Press F2 to load default values and continue
I pressed F1 which took me into the BIOS setup screen, loaded the default
BIOS settings, and saved and exited, then was faced with same
screen...Cache
memory error...etc.
I then tried F2 which gave me same screen practically...
DEL:Setup F11:Boot menu F12:Network menu
Cache memory error
Run SETUP
Press F1 to resume
I then press F1 and get a blank black screen with a tiny flashing
horizontal
line in the top right corner....and that's it ....nothing!
Please help I am no tech expert and have no idea what this means
