After the clean install you installed motherboard chipset & other drivers
from the supplied cd's or manufacturers sites?
Your PC supplier if large OEM, eg Dell/Hp or a laptop, otherwise the actual
hardware manu.sites

My computer did not boot - I got the message "error loading OS". Hence, I
had
to do a clean re-installation of my OS.

I have Windows XPSP2. My computer came with a CD-RW drive. I upgraded
the
same to a DVD-RW drive. For a few days, it was working fine. I then
reinstalled my OS and then, whenever I put in a DVD-RW disc, I get the
blue
screen of death and on the other hand, if I put in a CD-R or a DVD-R
disc,
I
get the following error message: **D:\ is inaccessible. A parameter is
incorrect.** I had installed InCD and Nero, I removed both of them,
still
same results. Please help!
