Looking in Device manager under Processors, I notice that Intel(R)
Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.20GHz is listed twice.
Both have almost identical info under Properties and both show "This
device is working properly.
The only difference is under Details which shows 0 or 1 at the end:
ACPI\GENUINEINTEL_-_X86_FAMILY_15_MODEL_4\_0
ACPI\GENUINEINTEL_-_X86_FAMILY_15_MODEL_4\_1
Why would my CPU be listed twice and as it is, why is neither showing a
conflict?

I disabled CPU Hyperthreading and booted into Win XP as usual. ... noticed that there is only 1 CPU recognized in Device Manager... (microsoft.public.windowsxp.general)
