I have XP desktop connected to wireless network with Linksys USB
adapter, its been working fine for long time.
Recently the connection does not work any more
The symptom is that the wireless connection on my network will disable
itself and when I try to enable, it will claim it failed connecting to
the device.
Make sure that there are no WLAN configuration tools (manufacturer)
running in the background (system tray). Next, display all WLAN
connections, remove that particular WLAN connection (not the adapter
or driver) and create a new connection with the appropriate parameters
(SSID, encryption type, key etc.). Make also sure that all other settings
(eg. channel#, IEEE 802.11b or IEEE 802.11g) have been set correctly.
