Transfer settings to new user

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Hello,
I have a bunch of computers that are currently members of a workgroup.
We will be setting up a domain. What is the best way to transfer over
settings, favorites, desktop, etc from the workgroup user account to
the domain user?
TIA
