If this is the first time you've seen tis stop error screen, restart your
computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If
this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for
any windows updates you might need.
If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or
software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you
need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart your
comnputer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options and then select Safe
Mode.

I bought this computer two years ago. This is the first time I have received
this message. I restarted the computer and all *seems* okay now.
All installed programs are working as they should. Yes, I have recently
installed Norton Internet Security 2007, but I think that is conflicting
Spyware Doctor 5, so have shutdown Spyware Doctor and things have picked up
since then. I went into NIS to view the history and there doesn't seem to be
anything untoward noted there. Is there something else I should check/do,
please?
PS: At the time this happened, something (I don't know what) was
downloading. There was the usual downloading icon in the system tray; I
hovered over it and it said downloading 40%, and it was almost only a second
or two after that that I got the above-noted message.
