Re: Auto-added Sites in the Restricted Sites Zone

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Well
1- There are over than 2600 items/Sites , to be Immunized.. All known bad
products are already blocked.
2- Why can't I add a check mark/tick the 'ENABLE PERMANENT BLOCKING OF BAD
ADDRESSES IN INTERNET EXPLORER' ???
3- Maybe because there's No Browser Helper to block bad downloads installed
!! What is Browser Helper?? and how to install one?? is it a ToolBar & Pop Up
Blocker or what??
4- This is the most inportant part ( My First and Main Question was and
still):
Again,, how to move those Sites from the " Restricted Sites " ok ,, I mean
those Sites I mentioned at first that start with *. like:
*.888.sooe.cn
*.ads.revsci.net/adserver
*.direct.data-line.us
*.dialer.cjb.net
*.edge.ru4.com
*.haren.com.br
*.imrworldwide.com.au
*.quick.search.ws
*.server.iad.liveperson.net
*.travel.picture-posters.com
*.test.coremetrics.com
*.t.rack.cc
*.www.zedo.com
*.xxxxxx.com.ru
*.you-search.com.ru

Above Sites are not the same as those U can add to Restricted Sites when U
Apply the Immunization feature... Those do not start with *. as these ^^^
ones which I don't know where they came from and how to delete/remove them..
above ones that start with *. do not go away/get removed Even when You
apply the Undo button. and/or You remove the Spybot BHO (which I did
manually) because I couldn't tick that option!! the the 'ENABLE PERMANENT
BLOCKING OF BAD
ADDRESSES IN INTERNET EXPLORER'
Thanking You

Hi
Yes, I do have SpyBot Search & Destroy
I used both features : 1- Check for Problems, Search and Destroy, and 2-
IMMUNIZE
So You mean,, using the IMMUNIZE feature would auto-add those Sites to the
Restricted Sites, in the Security Zone for a better protection?? ok
great.
But, what about if I want to reverse/ cancell that feature/option and I
want
to remove those Sites from the Restricted Sites in that Zone ,, then how
to
do that?
Thanks
Remay

Remany,

Do you have something like Spybot or another spyware application
installed?

In Spybot you have an IMMUNIZE feature which adds sites to that zone

When I go to Add, Remove "Sites" in:
Tools > Internet Options > Security > Restricted Sites
There are too many weird ' Auto-added ' Sites to that: "Restricted
Sites"
Security Zone
Just to name few here:

*.888.sooe.cn
*.ads.revsci.net/adserver
*.direct.data-line.us
*.dialer.cjb.net
*.edge.ru4.com
*.haren.com.br
*.imrworldwide.com.au
*.quick.search.ws
*.server.iad.liveperson.net
*.travel.picture-posters.com
*.test.coremetrics.com
*.t.rack.cc
*.www.zedo.com
*.xxxxxx.com.ru
*.you-search.com.ru

I've tried and tried to remove them, but nothing worked, not even in
Safe
Mode.. Why!!!
Any idea please?
thanking You
Remay
