I am trying to install a program from my CD drive but it will not let the
setup.exe file run. If I put the CD in my laptop it run perfectly.
What could be causing the proble,. I am running XP Pro SR2 with all the
updates. Its a stand alone PC. Deactivating the anti-virus (Nod32) has not
helped.

WinXP, dialup problem, Nod32 ... I've installed Nod32 on at least 2 dozen computer and haven't had any ... SP1 and all security updates installed.... After install, went to the net to update the program. ... Reinstalled Nod32 and no internet.... (microsoft.public.windowsxp.help_and_support)
