paths

I have a small problem. I want to tidy up a machine and part of that
involves removing paths that XP has 'learned' during setup. For
example, with the new h/w found wizard there is an option to browse
for drivers. On the dropdown there is a list of previously used paths.
How can I get rid of these? Where do they reside?
