Getting error Intel PROSet Resources are not available.

I just did a Windows XP Pro repair installation and now when I click on
Control Panel I get an alert window. The title is Intel(R) PROSet and the
message is "Resources are not available." When I click OK, the Control Panel
opens.

I don't have a wireless adapter on my PC which is what the Intel PROSet
refers to.
