From SafeMode rt click MyComputer>select Properties>Advanced>Startup and
Recovery-Settings>Uncheck the
Automatically Restart box. Next time you bootup you may get a blue
screen with error message. Post message back here.

At first, this was an intermittent problem, but now every time I boot up,
I
get the error message that Windows has experienced a problem and shuts
down,
the programme then reboots itself and so the loop continues. If I go into
Safe Mode, Control Panel, Admin Tools, Computer Management, Event Viewer,
Application, I can see the problem with all the error messages. When I
double
click one of these, it says: Event ID 1000, Description: Faulting
application
services.exe.
Version 0.0.0.0. fault address 0x00a25592. Every Error event shows a
different Version number. It says I should click on:
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp. but of course I can't do that
on
my Deskotp in Safe Mode. I've tried the address on this Laptop and it
won't
go there. From the information I've given, you probably realise that I'm
no
"techie". Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
