Try to Tap the F8 until you get the Boot option and elect to Last good Configuration and see if it will log you in.
Another on the Same Boot Options select Safe Mode and try to log in and perform the removal of the Virus.

If you've never set a password before the field should be blank. Have you tried just hitting the Enter key at the password prompt?
