Sorry, I misread your post. Since there is no "Microsoft Office XP Pro"
FWIW, there are Developer, Professional, and Standard versions of Microsoft
Office XP, including a Pro version with FrontPage. See these links for more

and since you posted in the newsgroup for general questions about the XP
operating system, I read it as "Microsoft XP Pro" and didn't realize
that you weren't asking about dual-booting the XP operating system with
Vista but wanted to know if Microsoft Office XP (2002) would work on
Vista. It does work, but Outlook doesn't retain passwords.
