Thanks for the prompt reply.
The problem I have is that opening a folder on the computer is not on the
list. Normally in the past I have opened the folder on the computer
to where I want to copy the camera files and transferred them.normal.
Now that option is not available on the pop up menu. It gives options like
open with: Word; Picassa; Publisher, etc but not just a folder as per

Hi
When I connect my digital camera to my computer I get a pop up menu
itselection of options in it.
Although I have not loaded any software that accompanied the camera,
thererecognises it as a Canon Powershot and list all kinds of options save
"open
in a folder".
As this is the very one I am looking for it is a bit frustrating, is
Windowsany way of getting this option into this pop up menu?
Let me add, if I slide in a flash drive it does give me this option.
Waiting in anticipation...

installed. I believe you are describing the dialog that appears when

doWhen the dialog appears select the option you want and check the "Always
