Re: explorer.exe wont start

I have installed Windows XP SP 2

For no apparent reason the explorer stop working.
Any suggestion?

Hi Patsy,

Did this happen right after installing SP2? If not, sounds like you may have picked up malware. Download and install the following:
(Install, Run, Update, Scan with..)

Lavasoft AdAware
http://www.lavasoft.de/products/ad-aware_se_personal.php

Spybot Search and Destroy
http://www.safer-networking.net/en/download/
