Right click and Save the attachment alone to your harddrive, then open it.
If it isn't corrupt it should open in either PPViewer or Open Office.

Patrick, Gordon, thanks for your replies. I have free Power point viewer
but regardless in what directory I install the email with the .pps
extension it does not find or recognize it. Outlook Express not configured
to prevent attachments from loading.

Does Open Office read file extension with .pps. I have power point
installed but can't view some emails I receive that have the extension
.pps. I understand they can be read if you have the full MS office
program.

Yes it can. But not automatically - there's a free add-in to start the
show automatically AFAIR....
