Hi, I need to do a completer reinstall of XP. After I get everything fine tuned I would like to create an image of it on another hard drive so I have a backup of a new install. Would I activate XP before making the image or after? Or can I even do it at all? Thanks for any help. Michael

Activate first, and make sure you image to an external hard drive. I like Acronis True Image version 10 for imaging.
