Very interesting reading....I did learn a few things......however I have XP Home and the article seemed to be about XP Pro. Do I need to create two user accounts on each computer? Currently, I am the administrator on one and my husband is on the other. We only have one user account set up on each computer. Could this be the problem?

Hello,
here's a guide to sharing My Documents: http://www.practicallynetworked.com/sharing/xp_filesharing/09mydocuments.htm
If there are still problems, please ask.

checkbox is checked and I can't share this folder. What makes this
automatically get checked. How can I make it stop!
XP Home does not permit sharing of users' home directories (My Documents) or Program Files, but you can share folders inside those directories. A better choice is to simply use the Shared Documents folder. You are having difficulties because you are trying to share resources in areas not normally allowed by your operating system.
