Re: XPSp2-using OEBU from Majick - Can not restore. Administrator

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I start to have more trouble and come to the conclusion that I will
re-install XP. But would like to format C:\ only (have 3 partitions on a 80 G
HD). All important files are BU. It will save me a lot of time.

Cat walking on the keyboard. Pushed the wrong button. Restart.

Under Doc & Set I have 5 accounts

1-Admin
2-All Users
3-Default User
4-José (my real one)
5-User

Never saw that before. Can I delete 3 of them? Looked at 279783. Don'
dare
doing it without advice.

You cannot delete Administrator, Default User or All Users, nor would you
want to if you could.

You could delete the User account, which would have been created by the PC
manufacturer, once you are sure that it has no data you want.

Was able to Restore:
- *.wab. It appears in #4 but no show in my OE

It has to go in a specific location. Open OE, open the address book, click
on Help, About. Or, from the address book, import the old address book.

- *.dbx, in #4 - ....Local/App/ID/A44.../MS/OE but no show in my OE.
My OE shows only mail from the last 5 or 6 days.
- Favorites from before reinstall.Appear in #4 but not on my Home page
MSN.com
The only Favorites that appear are the ones created in the last week.

In my Start Menu...Startup, there is a file "Reminder.wps" that before was
on my screen everytime when I started the PC. The file is there but does
not
show up.

Access denied from OEBU-Majick when I want to use it on my ZIP. Tried the
"
How to..." from 308421 to no avail. Is there no other way to get those
*.dbx
in OE?

They are in a backup file? I'm not sure what you are asking here or what
OEBU is.

I'll let this one go.
