Hi all,
Weird problem here, a folder under my C:\ drive that contains ALL my
mp3's is now suddenly inaccessible. When I
click to open it it says "C: is not formatted, do you want to format
it now?" or something like that.
Please advise. I simply cannot lose my 40GB & 5 years worth of
music!!! :(
Thanks!
Right-click "My Computer" > select "Manage" > select "Disk Management" (left
pane). See if you have a healthy NTFS partition. If not open a command
prompt Run > "cmd" (no quotes) click OK. At the prompt type "chkdsk /f".
The message will say you can't run it in Windows so select "Y" and restart
the computer. Check disk will appear as a blue text screen. Check disk will
make any repairs to a damaged file table.
See if that helps. You may also have too little free disk space left.
Mark
