Thanks for the advice. I tried the time-b and the navy sites and they worked
instantly. I wish that there were a way to permanently add them to the list
of choices.

In the Date and Time dialog box, I tried to update the internet time. I
used the Internet Time Tab and clicked the Update Now button. The error
message:
An error occurred while Windows was synchronizing with time.windows.com. I
got the same message for time.nist.gov. The checkbox for Automaticall
synchronize with an Internet time server is checked. The clock seems to be
current.
Before I try to update, there is a message that reads, Windows has never
attempted to synchronize with an internet time server.
I am using WinXP SP2 and all current updates. I also have Windows Live One
Care running. I tried turning off its firewall and running the update, but
with the same results.
Also, the service, Windows Time, is started and the startup type is
Automatic. I also tried a restart, with the same results.
Does anyone have any advice?
Thanks,
Gordo
