you may want to repost this at:

I have a directory of about 50,000 jpegs captured from a webcam over a
period of about 45 days. I want to make a timelapse video but I don't want
the photos taken in total darkness or in dusk/dawn to appear in the video.
Is there some command line switch I can use or do I need to look at a script
of some sort?
With that many files doing it by hand is near impossible as it takes forever
for the directory to refresh after doing anything.
Thanks,
T
