Both are Admin, with read/write access.

Let me try this again:
Two XP Dell desktops plugged into a Linksys WRT54G router to share the
IP
address. On Dell#1 I installed HP 5610 printer, connected through a USB
port.
I have 'shared' this printer by selecting the printer Share radio
button.
On
Dell#2, I select Add new printer=>Network=>Browse. I wait for the list
to
come up and see the printer installed on Dell#1. I select it, press
Next
and
get "Cannot find this printer. Make sure the name is typed correctly"
or
something like that. I should note that the name of the installed
printer
in
the displayed list after pressing Browse is doubled; in other words, I
see
\\(Dell#1)\HP Officejet 5600 series HP Officejet 5600 series
the name is listed twice.
When I go to Dell#1 and select Control Panel=> Printers, I see
HP Officejet 5600 series
I have disabled both firewalls, have checked the TCP/IP for printer
sharing
exceptions.
I am stumped.
Have you got the SAME user set up on both machines? (IE with the
identical
username and Password?)
Are they both Admin accounts, and can you share other folders withb
read/write access?
