If you have a volume license you do not need to activate--the installation is activated already.

Upon XP installation go to Start -> Run and type:

oobe/msoobe /a

You should see a window saying "Windows is already activated. Click OK to exit."

i am using the Volume lincense for the installation of XP on the
computers. I have computer lab of 200 computer. it is really difficult
to activate the Volume Lincense on each computer. i want to that i
should be able to activate the computers from one server. i am using
windows xp with VA1.0. i want when ever a new computer is added to
domain. I should activate it from the server made.
