If this is the case, you didn't follow my advice to reinstall the program
into the *same* directory. Otherwise, you're just talking about two entries
within the "Add/Remove Programs" applet and that's no big problem since
these entries can be removed easily. However, note that removing an
(invalid) entry does *not* uninstall that particular program. See also

The uninstall routine is always provided by the software during its
installation. The "Add/Remove Programs" tool is just the platform
launching that routine. If the uninstall process fails, this is not
a Windows issue and therefore, you may want to contact the software
manufacurer's tech support. Good luck.
