Remove them through Control Panel | Add/Remove programs. If you don't know
what was installed, go to Windows Update, do a custom scan, then click on
Update History in the left pane for history of what was installed when.

Thanks! I'm at a loss for what's going on, my hijack file was clean
according to castlecops, my spyware scan clean, my adware came up w/
some level 3 trackers, and I deleted them, and yet, I still cannot use
IE or OE properly at times (most times), right now it's working
however, if I close it and re-open it, it won't work, I'd have to
reboot. If I let it sit too long w/o doing anything in IE or OE same
thing. Very, very frustrating, any other steps I can take?

Would realplayer cause this? I allowed a site do DL it a few days ago
and today on shut down I got a strange stop program message from it
and it wasn't even running.

I can't say , but a standard troubleshooting technique is to undo any recent changes, which would include uninstalling any new software, removing any new hardware, then doing a system restore to a time when things worked. It's best to remove software through Add/Remove programs before doing a system restore.

I use a drive imaging program, currently Acronis True Image Home version 10, to regularly image the system to an external hard drive. A full image is done weekly, with an incremental image nightly. That way I can restore a previous image if a software or hardware install causes problems.
