Hi Rock,
You may remember that a while ago we had a conversation about Windows
Internet Time not synchronizing properly with time.nist.gov or
time.windows.com. Well, I believe that I finally found out what the problem
was. And since you took an interest in the problem, I thought I'd let you
know.
Have a look at Click here: http://tf.nist.gov/service/its.htm and read
"Starting on 14 April 2007 the server time.nist.gov will no longer respond to
requests for time in the TIME format (as defined in RFC-868)." at the bottom
of the page.
Interestingly, after I posted my criticism of MS, the time.windows.com was
repaired and now works properly.
Thanks for the update Milt.
