Re: Blinking Desktop Icons

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Frequently after any activity on Desktop icons in one moment loose their picture, refresh and after that everything is as always and O.K.!

What is the reason for that behavior?
Drasko, Croatia

Hi Drasko,

I believe it has something to do with Explorer. I can open folders on my Desktop (not every time but often), and when I close them the Desktop will flash momentarily. I'm sure the less horsepower your video card has, the more noticeable the flash.
