Background Image (eg. Bliss), to a "jagged" display. I have tried to
find a solution to this by searching this forum and also a by general
search using Google. This produced no related solution but perhaps my
input was not clear enough.
I have no idea what you mean? As I right click on my desktop all of the time. And it never turns the background to a jagged display.
I leave my desktop absolutely clear of any icons, and instead have a
Toolbar pointing to Desktop on my Taskbar. Would appreciate any input
by someone who tried this.

I too leave my desktop free of icons as well. In fact any install that places any icons to the desktop won't show either. As I use Aston Shell and this is how it works. And you have a desktop folder under the Start button if you want access to them.
