Where is the information about the path to the mail client used when Send
to>Mail recipient is invoked?
Background:
I have the misfortune to have to deal with Lotus Notes as an email client.
In order to install Notes in a way that functions in a roaming user
environment, it is necessary to install part of the software to a network
drive that is mapped to a different location for each user. (Although it has
a "multiuser" install, it installs data uselessly into the non-roaming
"local settings" structure).
To run Notes once installed in this way, an argument specifying the path to
an ini file must be passed to the executable, e.g. "notes.exe
h:\notes\notes.ini", otherwise Notes does not run.
This has meant changing the target in all shortcuts, and also in the
registry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\mailto\shell\open\command
for the mailto protocol and those for at
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail for the system default mail client
info.
However I've not got Send to>Mail recipient to work, hence I'm trying to
fing out where this information is hidden away.
