Is there any way to start over with the taskbar via the registry? I have a few quick launch icons on the bottom left, several icons for background programs bottom right, and the space in the middle is mostly gray with some vertical gray lines. The current running programs are all bunched up in one space with up and down arrows, and no matter what I do in moving the gray vertical bars, I cannot get the running programs to spread across the bottom, as they used to do. Actually, sometimes I can get them to spread out, but they won't stay spread out.
The taskbar is not locked. Sometimes I get a double height taskbar that I can't reduce.
Sorry about my imprecise use of the terminology.
How do I reset the taskbar to where it was originally?
Thanks.
