I am having trouble in Hotmail, when I click on an email sometimes my
computer freezes and there is a dns error at the bottom of the page. also
sometimes when in hotmail my computer goes to the network diagnostic page and
quite often freezes in that as well and I have to reset and restart. I have
looked at microsoft articles on this problem but they are too difficult to
understand. I am considering some sort of registry cleaner but do not know
what is safe and what isnt. Any help would be appreciated.
Don't use a registry cleaner. None of them are safe; they can cause more problems than they solve.
When did this problem start? If recent have you tried a system restore to a point before the problem occurred? What changes occurred in the system from the time things worked and now? Is the system clean of malware? How do you check for that?
