Hi all.
Whilst trying to install Windows XP on my 98 I received the following
message.."Unexpected error(150994700) in line 1773.
d:/xpsprtm/base/boot/setup/arcdisp.c".. press any key to continue"
Unfortunately this only caused a loop, and after several attempts I gave up.
Checking my upgrade advisor, I was informed that "Windows XP setup does not
support upgrading from 98 to XP Home.. setup cannot continue"
All this despite having 384 MB of ram and 33 GB of avail space !
Any help appreciated.

Hmm, you can do an in place upgrade from win98 to XP Home. What version of XP Home do you have? How are you trying to do the upgrade? See this link
