Click Start > Run, type in: control userpasswords2 and press Enter.
Make sure the "Users must enter a username and password to use this computer" check
box is selected.

I am the administrator on the computer and have set a pass word to allow the
windows to boot all the way. The problem is that it worked at first but now
the log in window does not appear and boots all the way. I need to password
protect so my computer so my young daughter does not stay on the computer all
day long. I want to monitor her time when I`m here. I can`t if the computer
allows her to sign on and I`m at work. Please help me stop her unauthorized
computer usage
Thanks in advance
