Re: Outlook panel in Outlook Express

Perhaps the "migration" wasn't a clean one? Have you been in Display properties, Settings, Advanced, general tab. If you changed the DPI setting there, it can cause the results you see. Normally it is 96 DPI.

Hi, Tried that, doesn't change anything in the Outlook Panel.

I've tried all the obvious things regarding the settings and clicking the toolbars. I'm thinking it might be a registry problem but not knowing where to look exactly, I'm loathe to try anything without being absolutely sure before hand.

Thanks for replying. Any other takers?

I've just migrated from 98SE to XP sp2 and have set up my mail the same as
in 98SE. However the font size for the text in the outlook panel is too
large for the button that contains the icons and so hence the bottom of the
text (if I use the sent post icon as an example) is missing, in the example
I'm quoting the tail of the lower case "p" disappears.
I've tried right clicking the space below and the button itself but the only
thing I can change is the icon size not the text size. I'm sure this can't
be an isolated incident and I'm hoping someone can suggest a fix.
TIA
