I have a new installation of Windows XP Home and each time I boot up I am
asked to select the user of whom there is only one (James). I've tried
every way I know to turn this off so XP will boot directly into Windows
without this selection step but so far I have had no success. When I go
to Run Control Userspasswords2, I am shown Administrators (Group
Administrators), ASPNET (Users) and James (Administrators). I've tried
unchecking the user name and password box on that screen but that doesn't
work either.
How do I get rid of the selection step at boot up?
Thanks very much for any help.
James
Hi James,
There are a few methods of doing it. Here is a site so you can get it
fixed:
