RE: Multi Monitor

Ok so it is probably set up so the primary adapters on the cards are 1 and 2
and the secondary adapters are 3 and 4. So you need to take your monitor on
card one and switch to the other port on the same card. Then switch the
number 4 monitor from the second card to the port that you just switched from
on card one.

Graphical

Computer numbering:
[ 1 ] [ 3 ] Primary Card

[ 2 ] [ 4 ] Secondary card

Your current config:
[ ] [ A ] Primary Card

[ B ] [ C ] Secondary Card

The Fixed config:
[ A ] [ C ] Primary Card

[ B ] [ ] Secondary Card

A = 1 (Primary monitor)
B = 2 (2nd Monitor)
C = 3 (3rd Monitor)

Thanks fot your answer, but I thnik I can not apply.
I'll try to explain in more detail my actual configuration:
- Principal monitor connected to the first card (at 1024 x 768) identified
as 3
- Monitors (at 2560 x 2048) connected to the second card, identified as 2
and 4.

What I need is to identify the principal monitor as 1, and the monitors
connected to the second card as 2 and 3.

Your computer is not recognizing your monitors and then numbering them 1
through 4 it is recognizing your video card ports and numbering them 1
through 4. An easy fix would be to leave 1 hooked up to ur primary card take
3 from ur secondary card and hook it to 2 on ur primary card and move 4 to
the three position and then plug 2 from the primary into 4 on the secondary.

Graphical explanation:

Your current setup
[ 1 ] [ 2 ] Primary card
[ 3 ] [ 4 ] Secondary card

Revised setup
[ 1 ] [ 3 ] Primary Card
[ 4 ] [ 2 ] Secondary Card

I have a system with 4 monitors (2 dual graphic cards)
Win XP identify the monitors from 1 to 4.
What I need is to change that identification:
The primary monitor connected to the first graphic card identify as 1
The monitors connected to the second graphic card identify as 2 and 3.

Any help ???
