Hi, I've just has a prog downloaded to my PC without my asking. The
icon sits in the Notification area of the Taskbar, and when clicked
with either the R or L mouse buttons opens up a web page in IE7 at
www.spylocked. com, where I'm asked to buy this prog. I've tried
scanning my registery without success (what to look for other than
spylocked?), and going into Safe Mode to try and delete it (it is the
only icon that appears in the Notification area in Safe Mode). The
icom switches between a question mark in a blue circle and a red
'no-entry' sign. And every few seconds up pops a balloon with
'Security Alert', and the usual rubbish about the PC being infected
by all kinds of spyware. Anyone any ideas how to get rid of this
'thing'?
Thanks,
Robert
