Many thanks for the reply. However, would it not be easier (and less work)to
remove the SP2 in Add/Remove, repair Windows from the original installation
CD and then install SP2 (which I also have on a CD) or download it from
Microsoft, after the repair job is done? I would appreciate your
professional view on this.
