Hi group,
I will be upgrading my HDD soon, and usually do a fresh install with such
an upgrade. THIS time, I would just like to clone this drive and transfer
to my new one, to save time, and this OS is running smooth and I have many
gig's of programs installed. My question is: Is there a freeware cloning
tool to accomplish this? Or one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg with a
friendly UI? Of course I'm running Windows XP Pro with NTFS...
Thanks in advance for any and all replies!
Doug
Yes there are. Put 'freeware cloning' into Google.
However, if you've any sense you would get Acronis True Image or Symantec
Ghost. My favourite is Acronis. Money well spent and not expensive,
.
