Logon window history deletion

How do I get rid of the list of logon IDs or e-mails that appears when I
need to logon via a logon window (if that makes sense)? e.g. Hotmail web
site logon - a list of previously used (and stored somewhere) e-mails
appears in a pulldown - how do I clear this please?
