I've read all the information here on this subject, and done everything
that's been subjested. Still, I'm without an Administrator account. I'm not
saying you're wrong, I may be totally inept. Here are the facts, and results
of the things I've tried.
I'm running Windows XP Pro, it's a work computer and on a network (no
server, just internet and printers)
When I start the computer in safe mode (F8 at start up) I show steven as my
sign in name, When I change it to administrator and hit enter, it tells me to
check the password and domain names.
When I go to start and then run, CMD I get
C:\documents and settings\steven>
I know some of you out there are saying the administrator account cannot be
deleted but I'm pretty lost here.
If anyone can help me PLEASE do. If possible can you explain what to do as
if you were explaining it to you 3 year old?


Talk to the Network Administrator.
