Please read my instructions again. You can change to XP view under the themes TAB.

Darn. When I clicked on proporties, a Dialog box appeared telling me that the
luna theme is not a valid theme, so I changed it to the windows xp media
center theme. But the taskbar is still in classic mode. It is not just the
Windows XP theme that makes the taskbar classic. I've downloaded vista themes
and they too make the taskbar classic.

You know what? I think this is enough now. I am just gonna stick with the
classic taskbar and not damage my computer.
Thank you all for you help and support.

Emad.

Emad: Before you make changes as suggested by Claymore, do this
one thing first.

RightClick an open spot on your desktop.

Click properties/themes/Theme: Windows XP/Apply

See if this returns you to XP theme colors.
