I used to have two hard drives. At start up I had to select which one I wanted to start. I now have one larger HD but, when I start my computer the selection window still opens just as if I still had two. How do I get rid of the selection option? I am running XP home.
How did you originally configure the machine to offer such a selection? This would have to have been via the BIOS, as such a selection isn't truly possible from within Windows or even using a 3rd-party boot manager. Simply reverse whatever steps you originally took to create the present configuration.
