The system requirements for the quickbooks 2007 state that windows xp home is
not recommended however windows pro is acceptable. I currently have windows
xp media addition 2004. How can I determine if the quickbooks 2007 will be
compatible with my system?

XP Media Center Edition is based on XP Pro with the addition of the media features and without the ability to join a domain. I would think QB Pro would work on it, however, you really should be asking Intuit this question. Since it's their software.
