AdAware asks you for a filename because as well as quarantining suspicious objects singly (like an antivirus program, for example), you can choose to quarantine some or all of them as a group. You might want to save all the objects from one session under a name that includes the date and time, for example. You'll need to know the filename if you later want to restore the object(s).
